Workshop: Leadership opportunities in the nordic region
Workshop
At the inaugural Nordic-Baltic Maritime Forum, we delivered a tailor-made workshop exploring the competitive advantages and leadership opportunities for the region’s maritime sector in a volatile and uncertain world. The workshop challenged participants to rethink Nordic-Baltic maritime sustainability not as a compliance exercise, but as a long-term geopolitical, societal, and industrial resilience question under deep uncertainty.

Roundtable: Maritime SheEO Conference in Mumbai
Context
Maritime SheEO is a mission-driven maritime leadership and industry platform focused on diversity, inclusion, and women’s leadership development. Their conference gathers leaders focusing on women in the maritime sector.
Workshop
We delivered a roundtable that challenged Maritime India to see sustainability not as an environmental obligation, but as the foundation for long-term maritime resilience, competitiveness, and societal stability in a rapidly changing world. The session examined strengths and vulnerabilities in India’s maritime sector and explored opportunities for global impact.
Context
Wärtsilä is a global company leading technology innovation and lifecycle solutions for the marine and energy industries.
Their Norwegian branch invited us to deliver a full-day workshop for their management team, to explore concepts of sustainability.
As Wärtsilä’s strategy is centered around decarbonisation, we explored how they could incorporate holistic sustainability within their existing strategy.

Conference Design: ‘Opening Oceans’ Conference for NOR-SHIPPING
Context
Nor-Shipping contacted us to design and lead a two-day conference that brought together leaders from maritime, finance, technology, policy, research, and NGOs to explore how sustainable ocean industries could develop through collaboration.
Solution
We designed a conference that combined keynote stages, high-level think tanks and interactive “Exploration Islands” focused on practical solutions and emerging business models. Participants included representatives from the United Nations, OECD, AP Møller Maersk, Wärtsilä, DNV GL, Nordea and the Sustainable Ocean Alliance.
The conference resulted in an early cross-sector platform for systems-based maritime sustainability thinking — linking shipping, ocean health, innovation, finance and governance in one shared conversation.
